Tim is 40 years of age and lives in Mount Lawley with his wife Lindsay and their young daughters, who are 4 years and 6 months old respectively. He is a member of a number of community groups in the Federal Perth electorate and most recently was elected president of the Mount Lawley Society.
Tim has previously practised as a Barrister, predominantly advising and appearing in matters relating to asbestos litigation. He has also advised and appeared regularly in medical negligence claims, workplace injury, motor vehicle claims and public liability matters employment & industrial relations matters.
Tim is the Federal Member for Perth. He is also the Federal Senior Vice President of the ALP. He is also the President of his local branch, the North Perth branch. Tim is the Vice President of the Perth Federal Electorate Campaign Committee and the Deputy Chair of the Australian Labor International Committee.
